Bridging The Gap Ministries, Inc. is holiness based Pentecostal church.  We believe in the power, and the working of the Holy Spirit, holy living and expressing our love and appreciation for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ without inhibitions.  We also believe this can best be done through praise, worship, and exercising of spiritual gifts.  We further believe that the scriptures contained in the Bible are rules and standards of practice for faith.  It is the desire of Bridging The Gap Ministries, to minister to people of all ages, races and nationalities.  We have special programs designed for both adults and youth.  We would love the opportunity to minister to you and your family.  If you are not a member of a local church, prayerfully consider making Bridging The Gap Ministries, your church home.  The pastor and members of Bridging The Gap Ministries invite you to join us as we lift up the name of Jesus. Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and true word of God.  We believe that it is the foundation of truth and the final authority for all Christian living. We believe that there is one God, who is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, and eternally existent in three persons.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; We believe that salvation is the gift of God, by grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ.  It is free and not a result of good works or personal excellence. We believe that the only way to be cleansed from sin is to meet the conditions contained in Romans 10:9-10.  It is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ that we obtain salvation and justification. We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the resurrection and rapture of His church. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4.  We believe that the Holy Ghost is an indwelling guide that will instruct, empower, and renew believers in Christian service, and Holy living. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are manifested in man.  Those gifts are the tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, and healing.

Church History

In 1995, through a God-given vision, Elder Jerome Elliott started a 100 men outreach service. The service was designed to help restore men to their rightful place in God, the home and the church.  God gave him the Scripture of Ezekiel 22:30 -And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.  This became the bases for the men’s service, and the foundational scripture for the ministry. God anointed and bless this service each year, and in December 2000, after much prayer and fasting, Pastor Elliott became the Pastor and Founder of Bridging The Gap Ministries, Inc.  A ministry after God's own heart that will be a driving force in his community and spread abroad.  Our goal is to help bridge the gap between man and God one soul at a time.
